Philip A. Hoffer, RPA, Partner, GNP Commercial (a division of GNP Realty Partners), has more than 25 years of industry experience and is responsible for commercial operations—office, industrial, and retail.
Formerly, Mr. Hoffer served as Executive Vice President for Asset Management for Prime Group Realty Trust, a publicly traded REIT owning over 14 million square feet of office and industrial properties. He also was Senior Manager for Design and Construction for Johnson Controls and Bovis Lend Lease on a facilities management contract with British Petroleum (BP).
Mr. Hoffer has an extensive consulting practice providing real estate expertise and project management services on commercial developments and corporate projects throughout the US, UK and Middle East. In 1993, he led a team to stabilize and manage a retail mall in Buena Park, California until it was redeveloped by Penguin Realty (Pritzker family) and Helios Development. The assignment included coordination on REA agreements, going dark provisions, merchant association issues and regular operating and restrictive covenants particular to mall operations during redevelopment. Mr. Hoffer also leased and managed downtown and suburban retail as part of an office development, encompassing clients CVS, Walgreens, Brinker International, banks and jewelers.
Mr. Hoffer has an extensive consulting practice providing real estate expertise and project management services on commercial developments and corporate projects throughout the US, UK and Middle East.
He holds a degree in Business from the University of Denver, and the Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from BOMI. He is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Illinois and Indiana.
