100-yr. old single-family kitchen rehab in Arlington Heights, IL

When many construction projects nationwide suffer from supply chain issues, extending projects by weeks or months, GNP completed a total kitchen gut and remodeling of a 100-year-old home in less than two months. The project called for removing a load-bearing wall to accommodate the addition of an island and improve the flow. The existing 300 sq. ft. kitchen was taken down to studs before installing new walls, hardwood flooring, cabinets and all electrical.

Using our in-house labor and recommended sources for design (architect), fixtures and appliances, the owner remained in the home through most of the project and lost use of the kitchen for only six weeks. GNP worked collaboratively with the architect to ensure the project remained within the pre-approved budget—resulting in a very satisfied customer:

Working with CMPS was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Our vision for our kitchen remodel was a complicated one, but the team at CMPS ensured us they would get the job done. They did not disappoint! From the start, the designers were mindful of our budget and helped us create the kitchen of our dreams! Every member of their team was always punctual, professional and courteous. If there was ever a concern or question, our general contractor was there to address the issue. We absolutely love the way our kitchen turned out and would recommend CMPS for any remodeling needs.
