Lobby Renovation at the Realtor® Building

As part of the multi-phased redevelopment of the Realtor® Building, located at 430 N. Michigan Ave., we applied our exemplary design approach and building acumen to reimagine the lobby experience for both pedestrians and building occupants. The lobby renovation is among the final phases of the “master vision,” the redevelopment plan for the property, which GNP also manages.
The $7 million lobby reimagination provides enhanced Realtor® brand recognition on this architecturally storied block of Michigan Ave., which is also home to the Tribune Tower, Wrigley Building, and Apple’s flagship retail store.
The lobby sets an all-new standard of real estate excellence—from its one-of-a-kind glass enclosure, developed and designed in Germany, to its curved vaulted ceiling and book-matched Italian marble. Once complete (mid-2022), it will be a jewel box, brightly showcased on one of the world’s most prominent avenues.
