GNP’s residential construction arm jumped at an opportunity to purchase and develop three lots in the privately-owned Geneva National Resort & Club, located 80 miles north of Chicago. Surrounded by lush landscapes, the Community includes luxe amenities such as a state-of-the-art wellness center, a 56,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and an award-winning golf “trifecta” designed by masters Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Lee Trevino.
The first of the three GNP-built homes sold in 2021 for above the asking price within 45 days of the MLS listing going live. The listing included artistic renderings of the home, which was only 20% complete then. Built during the height of the pandemic, GNP skillfully navigated the associated supply chain issues by sourcing desired building materials through our long-standing vendor partners. By getting ahead of the supply chain problem, we avoided any lessening of the home’s value through having to substitute high-quality materials for more readily available ones at the time.
The 3,500 sq. ft. home is mid-size for Geneva National and readily passed the Homeowners Association Architectural Review Committee assessment, ensuring an overall community style that integrates with the Community’s natural surroundings.
GNP expects to begin construction on the other two lots in the fall of 2022 for sale in the spring of 2023. Both homes will be a similar size to the completed home. Contact us regarding interest in a custom build.
