Over the past year, Chicago has emerged as one of the leading cites for energy-efficient building practices. Based on the number of LEED certifications awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Chicago came in third in the country with 75 certifications between January 2016 and mid-March 2017.

While the influx of Generation Y into the workforce and commercial sector has left some corporate entities puzzled, one fact remains clear: Millennials have really great taste.

The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) has been awarded WELL Certified™ Silver for its Chicago headquarters by the International WELL Building Institute™ (IWBI). It is the first association in the U.S. to become WELL Certified™, the 9th certified project in the U.S. and the 12th certified project globally. IREM’s headquarters occupies space in the Realtor® Building on N. Michigan Ave., managed by GNP Realty Partners.

Ulta Beauty signed 10-year tenant partnership to occupy 11,500 square feet in the GNP Realty Partners-managed Realtor® Building at 430 N. Michigan Ave.

The REALTOR® Building, managed by GNP Realty Partners, has achieved status as a designated IREM® Certified Sustainable Property – a certification that focuses on exceptional real estate management in green building performance.

GNP Realty Partners was named a 2016 Green Lease Leader at the 2016 Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Conference & Expo. GNP was recognized along with the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) for the best small Team Transaction.
